Emerency Care Facility

An Emergency Care Facility is a CLINIC OR FACILITY.

SERVICES provided by Emergency Care Facilities may range from major Accident and Emergency Departments providing full 24 hour SERVICES to smaller units (Minor Injury Units) which offer assessment and treatment for minor injuries. Other types of unit which provide access to urgent/unscheduled care include Walk In Centres (WICs) and Urgent Care Centres (UCCs).
